Meeting Minutes

 

The Meeting – was held at the Mayfield Twp. Hall

Networking – 5:00 PM

Program – What do you want out of the club?

Potluck – 6:00 PM

Meeting called back to order – 6:30

Treasurers Report – Barb Hunter, treasurer, gave a report for the end of April ending balance $XXX.xx plus $50.00 cash on hand for change.  A motion was made by Becky Hanner to accept the treasurer report and it was seconded by Steve Balabon. Membership voted to accept the April 2023 treasurer report.

Spring Plant sale – Cathy Hodgson has available the following plants, Wind Beneath My Wings $5.00, Age of Gold - $5.00, Happy Daze -$10.00 and Whee $10.00. See Cathy if you would like to purchase any plants.

Business meeting – the board has asked the membership what they would like for the upcoming year, and if they have any suggestions.  A May plant exchange was discussed, and Becky passed out cards for those that might have suggestions but wanted to remain anonymous.  Carolyn Pickard suggested a bus trip, maybe to Meijer Gardens, Dow Gardens etc. She said a 44-passenger bus would run around $1200. She will check on dates and places, if interested please contact Carolyn.

Summer Meetings – Just a reminder that our first summer garden tour will be at Rick Stouts home in Oxford and Piechnik’s Garden Gate in Oakland Township.

Next Meeting – June 8^th Garden tour Rick Stout and Piechnik’ Garden Gate.
